SIMULATION STUDY OF GENERALIZED PREDICTIVE CONTROL FOR TURBINE POWER

Abstract: A GPC (generalized predictive control) law is developed to control the power of a turbine, after transforming the nonlinear mathematical model of the power regulation system into a CARIMA(controlled auto-regressive integrated moving average) form. The effect of the new control law is compared with a traditional PID (proportional, integral and differential) control law by numerical simulation. The simulation results verify the effectiveness, the correctness and the advantage of the new control scheme.
