DYNAMIC MODEL AND ANALYSIS METHOD OF ELASTIC MECHANISM SYSTEM WITH ALLOY DAMPED SANDWICH STRUCTURE*

Abstract: A beam element model with 2 nodes and 10 degrees of freedom for elastic linkage mechanism with alloy damped sandwich structure is put forward. Both shear and axial deformations in damping layer of the beam are taken into account in the model. The damping is considered according to complex damping model, and the element mass matrix, complex stiffness matrix as well as element differential equations of motion are deduced. Furthermore, element models are assembled into a system model, which is a differential equation with variable coefficient matrixes, and the corresponding numerical method for the model is developed. Agreements between numerical analysis and experimental results are quite well. It is fully shown that the theoretical model and the numerical method addressed in the paper are correct and feasible.
