ON INTEGRITY ASSESSMENT
OF AXISYMMETRIC COMPONENTS
OPERATING WITHIN CREEP REGIME

Abstract: A multiaxial paradigm for predicting creep damage/lives of components is described. Although in principle the paradigm is general, it is verified using axisymmetric experimental data. It is shown that the proposed paradigm is capable of predicting creep lives with an error of less than 2%. It is also shown that the proposed paradigm is more accurate than the reference stress method.f
