NEW ANALYSIS METHOD OF THERMAL DEFORMATION MULTIVARIABLE CONTROL FOR PRECISION MACHINE
1997, 11(2).
[Abstract](2251) [PDF 161KB](90)
Abstract:
A way in theory to solve problems about temperature sensor location, thermal actuator variable selection and actuator input pairing up with thermal deformation of key point output for precision machine via singular value decomposition analysis method is tended to find. The ouptut dominant direction method to select temperature sensor location, a singular array method to pair input up with output and the minimum condition number method to determine the optimal thermal actuator control variables are presented. An application of thermal regulation control method has illustrated the feasibility and practicality of the new methods.
MATHEMATICAL MODEL OF NC MACHINING NONCONVENTIONAL MILLING CUTTERS-FORMING METHOD OF RAKE FACES
1997, 11(2).
[Abstract](2178) [PDF 176KB](70)
Abstract:
How to generate rake faces of nonconventional milling cutters (NCMC) with constant spiral angled and normal rake angled edgled edges on NC machine tools is presented by use of a blunt cup grinder or a cup milling cutter. Motion functions of the NC machining system are mathematically deduced and examed by a experiment. The research will provide theoretical and parctical guidance for machining nonconventional tools on NC machine tools.

1997, 11(2).
[Abstract](2085) [PDF 277KB](84)
Abstract:
Based on analysis of electrochemical machining (ECM) process and application of finite element technique (FET), a method of tool design is presented which can be used in ECM with passivated electrolyte. As a result of specific treatment to boundary conditions, this method needs much less computing time and memory space. It has been shown that the theoretical results correspond well with the experimental ones.
RELIABILITY—BASED ANALYSIS AND SYNTHESIS OF MECHANICAL ERROR FOR PATH GENERATING LINKAGES
1997, 11(2).
[Abstract](2211) [PDF 184KB](106)
Abstract:
A reliability-based analysis approach to mechanical error in path generating lingages is presented. The reliability index is taken as a measure for the deviation of the actual path of a coupler point from the desired one. A reliabilty-based synthesis procedure of the mechanical error for path generating linkages to allocate tolerances and tolerances is developed. A four-bar path generating mechanism is considered for numerical illustration.
EDGE PROCESS ON ARC WELDING INVERTER COMMUTATING
1997, 11(2).
[Abstract](2154) [PDF 227KB](105)
Abstract:
Half-bridge circuit is taken as example, the physical essential of current pulse front edge and back edge in PWM of PFM converter is analyzed. The appearance of varying current-source or transformation from voltage-source into current-source in primary of converter is necessary condition for forming front and back edges. Through synchrenously varying of primary current and secondary current, and current shifting between two secondary windings in constant magnetic conditon, transformation of basic stages is realized.
INVESTIGATION INTO THE DEGRADATION OF CUTTING FLUIDS IN A WORKSHOP ENVIRONMENT
1997, 11(2).
[Abstract](2118) [PDF 311KB](134)
Abstract:
An experimental approach is adopted to assess degradation of the cutting fluids in a workshop environment. The biological contaminants are identified and their effects on the cutting fluid properties are studied. Moreover, the effect of the degradation on the process performance in terms of roughness of the machined surface is also evaluated.
NEW AUTOREGRESSIVE MOVING AVERAGE SPECTRUM ESTIMATION AND CEPSTRUM ALGORITHM
1997, 11(2).
[Abstract](2099) [PDF 136KB](106)
Abstract:
Based on the deduction of the C parameter estimation, a new method to estimate C Parameters from the AR parameters of the ARMA model and auto-related function is proposed, the method reduces the computation complexity of the conventional interative algorithm in MA parameter estimation, thus make the algorithm of ARMA model spectral estimation simpler. On account of this method, a new algorithm of cepstrum analysis is put forward, computer simulation indicates that the proposed cepstrum algorithm has the merits of few sidelobes and high resolution. And the algorithm is very useful to the diagnosis of machinery failure.
NEW APPROCAH ON CUTTER PATH GENERATION FOR PLANE MILING
1997, 11(2).
[Abstract](2170) [PDF 228KB](29)
Abstract:
A new approach on cutter path generation for plane milling is proposed. The cutter feed status at the position of each grid mesh can be determined by using a specific algorithm consisting of data processing and some heuristic rules. From the cutter feed status and the coordinates of the grid meshes, the cutter path for milling plane can be generated.
FINITE STRIP DYNAMIC ANALYSIS OF CYLINDRICAL SHELL SANDWICH STRUCTURES
1997, 11(2).
[Abstract](2124) [PDF 238KB](113)
Abstract:
A rectangular, singly curved and finite strip element for curved sandwich dynamic analysis is developed. The convergence and speed of the method, the strip element density and the reduction of the degreeds of freedom etc.are discussed through free vibration analysis of a honeycomb cylindrical shell panel. The results show that the frequencies and modal shapes obtained agree very well with the analytical solutions for the symmetrical honeycomb sandwith under the simply supported end conditions.

1997, 11(2).
[Abstract](2155) [PDF 202KB](99)
Abstract:
A real-time algorithm for surface interpolation (SDI) and a mixed NC machining method of compound surfaces are discussed. An adaptive triangulation and an adaptive machining step length along surface/surface intersection (SSI) curves are put forward respectively.

1997, 11(2).
[Abstract](2187) [PDF 364KB](93)
Abstract:
The burning mechanism during creep feed grinding of titanium alloy with SiC wheel is studied. A CBN imtermittent creep feed grinding technology combining the advantages of CBN, intermittent grinding and creep feed grinding is recommended. The results show that the intermittent CBN wheel has a bright future in resolving the problem of workpiece burning during creep feed grinding of titanium alloys.

[Abstract](2185) [PDF 342KB](123)
Abstract:
The distribution of electric potential in plasma and paste is measured with samples equipped with probes under various technical conditions. A model of boronizing reaction is proposed based on the chemical reaction in the boronizing agent. A kinetic law of boronizing is deduced from the measured boronizing rate and the quality change under various temperature, time and discharging power conditions.

The 6D system and the technology can be certainly used in many other kinds of geometric measuring projects.
